Day 1

Arrive in Entebbe. Day at leisure. Upon your arrival at the Entebbe airport, you will be greeted by our company representatives who will assist you with the immigration and customs procedures. They will then transfer you to your hotel in Kampala, the capital city of Uganda. The rest of the day is at your leisure to relax and recover from your journey. Overnight stay at your hotel in Kampala.

Day 2

Drive to Fort Portal and later Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park. After breakfast, you will embark on a scenic drive to Fort Portal, a beautiful town located in western Uganda. The drive will take you through lush countryside, rolling hills, and traditional villages. Upon reaching Fort Portal, you will proceed to Kibale Forest National Park, known for its rich biodiversity and impressive population of chimpanzees. Overnight stay in Kibale Forest National Park.

Day 3

Chimpanzee tracking in the morning Early in the morning, after a hearty breakfast, you will head to Kanyanchu park headquarters for a briefing on chimpanzee tracking. Knowledgeable guides will provide you with essential information about the chimpanzees and the guidelines for a successful and ethical tracking experience. Once briefed, you will venture into the dense forest in search of these intelligent primates. When you encounter the chimpanzees, you will have the opportunity to spend one hour observing and photographing them. After the tracking experience, return to the lodge for lunch, and in the afternoon, visit the nearby tea plantations to learn about the tea production process. Overnight stay in Kibale Forest National Park.

Day 4

Drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Afternoon boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel. Today, you will depart from Kibale Forest National Park and drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park. This scenic drive will take you approximately three hours, offering stunning views of the Rwenzori Mountains, crater lakes, and the vast savannah landscapes. After arriving at your lodge and having lunch, you will embark on an exciting boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel. The channel is known for its diverse wildlife population, including hippos, crocodiles, elephants, and various bird species. Enjoy the picturesque scenery and the close encounters with the animals as you cruise along the channel. Overnight stay in Queen Elizabeth National Park.

Day 5

Morning game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park, then transfer to Ishasha sector for an afternoon game drive. Start your day early with a thrilling morning game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park. Accompanied by experienced guides, explore the park's diverse ecosystems, which are home to a wide range of wildlife. After the game drive, return to the lodge for breakfast and then transfer to the Ishasha sector, famous for its tree-climbing lions. In the afternoon, embark on another game drive in Ishasha, keeping a close eye on the fig trees where the lions often rest. Overnight stay in Queen Elizabeth National Park.

Day 6

Game drive in Ishasha sector, watching for tree-climbing lions. Later drive to Bwindi. This morning, set out on another game drive in the Ishasha sector, focusing on spotting the tree-climbing lions that have made this area famous. Keep your cameras ready to capture these remarkable creatures as they rest and roam in the branches of the fig trees. After the game drive, bid farewell to Queen Elizabeth National Park and proceed to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest Park. The journey will take you through breathtaking landscapes and rural villages. Overnight stay in Bwindi/Buhoma areas.

Day 7

Gorilla tracking in Bwindi Forest, followed by a return to the starting point. Today is the highlight of your trip as you embark on a once-in-a-lifetime experience: gorilla tracking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. After an early breakfast, you will head to the park headquarters for a briefing on gorilla tracking rules and guidelines. Accompanied by experienced guides and armed rangers, you will venture into the dense forest in search of the endangered mountain gorillas. When you find a gorilla family, you will have the incredible opportunity to spend one hour in their presence, observing their behavior and capturing memorable photographs. After the gorilla tracking, return to the starting point and celebrate this unforgettable encounter. Overnight stay in Bwindi/Buhoma areas.

Day 8

Fly to Entebbe and later, prepare for the domestic return flight. After breakfast, depending on your confirmed flight departure time, you will be transferred to the local airstrip for a short domestic flight back to Entebbe. Upon arrival at the Entebbe airport, our representatives will be waiting to pick you up and transfer you to your hotel. Take some time to relax, reflect on your remarkable journey, and prepare for your onward travels or return flight home.
