Arrival in Kigali - An Introduction to Rwanda Upon your arrival at Kigali International Airport, our friendly company representatives will warmly welcome you. They will escort you to your hotel in Kigali, where you can settle in and unwind after your journey.

Day 2

Journey to Nyungwe – Exploring Rwanda's Cultural Treasures After a delightful breakfast, we will depart from Kigali and head towards Nyungwe National Park. Along the way, we will stop at the King's Palace and Museum, offering insights into Rwanda's rich cultural heritage. Continuing our journey, we will visit the Natural History Museum in Nyanza/Hure before arriving at our hotel in time for lunch. Spend the afternoon relaxing and enjoying the surroundings. Nyungwe National Park is a treasure trove of biodiversity, home to ancient tropical forests and a diverse array of wildlife. One of the park's highlights is its chimpanzee population, and we will have the opportunity to track and observe these fascinating primates.

Day 3

Start your day early with an invigorating trek through the forest as we search for chimpanzees. The early morning hours are ideal for spotting these incredible creatures while they are still active. Spend an unforgettable hour observing them in their natural habitat and capturing remarkable photos. After returning to the starting point, we'll head back to the lodge for lunch. In the afternoon, embark on a unique adventure—the canopy walk. This exhilarating experience offers panoramic views of the lush Nyungwe Forest from elevated suspension bridges.

Day 4

Following breakfast, we will leave Nyungwe and embark on a scenic drive to Volcanoes National Park. Marvel at the picturesque landscapes during the approximately 5-hour journey. Arriving in the afternoon, check into your hotel and take some time to relax and prepare for the upcoming activities.

Day 5

Venture into Volcanoes National Park and set off on a trek to find the charismatic golden monkeys. Explore the foothills of Sabyinyo Volcano as you follow the trails in search of these playful creatures. The trek typically lasts between 2 to 4 hours, ensuring a memorable wildlife encounter. Return to the lodge for a satisfying lunch. In the afternoon, visit the Ellen DeGeneres Museum, dedicated to educating visitors about the gorillas and the region's diverse plant life. Later, enjoy a rejuvenating evening massage at the lodge.

Day 6

Today, embark on an exclusive private gorilla tracking experience, ensuring privacy for you and your close friends or relatives. Accompanied by knowledgeable park rangers, track a gorilla family and spend an awe-inspiring hour in their presence. Reflecting on Rwanda's Heritage On our final day, we bid farewell to Volcanoes National Park and return to Kigali. The approximately 2.5-hour drive will take us back to the city, where we will visit the Kigali Genocide Memorial and National Museum. Reflect on Rwanda's past while honoring the memories of those affected by the tragic events. Afterward, check into your hotel and relax before your onward journey.
