Arrive at Nyabitaba Hut, your first stop on the trek, where you'll spend the night before continuing to John Matte Hut. Here, you'll be surrounded by towering peaks and stunning vistas, with the option to summit Mt. Margherita, the highest peak in the Rwenzori range.Continue your trek to Bujuku Hut, nestled in a valley surrounded by towering mountains and spectacular glaciers. Trek on to Lake Kitandara Hut, where you'll enjoy stunning views of the surrounding landscape and the tranquil waters of Lake Kitandara.

Make your way to Guy Yeoman Hut, where you'll spend your final night in the mountains before returning to Nyabitaba Hut to complete your trek. Experience the majesty and beauty of the Rwenzori Mountains on this unforgettable trekking adventure.

Day 1

Arrival in Entebbe Upon your arrival at Entebbe Airport, our friendly company representatives will be there to warmly welcome you. They will assist you with your luggage and transfer you to your hotel in Kampala. Take some time to unwind and get settled, as the first day is at leisure for you to rest and prepare for the exciting journey ahead.

Day 2

Journey to Ibanda - Today, set off on an exciting drive from Entebbe to Ibanda. Along the way, you'll witness the breathtaking landscapes of Uganda, including lush green hills, quaint villages, and maybe even some wildlife. Upon reaching Ibanda, settle in and prepare for the adventure that lies ahead.

Day 3

Trek to Nyabitaba Hut - The real adventure begins! Lace up your hiking boots and hit the trail as we embark on a trek from Ibanda to Nyabitaba Hut (2650m). The journey will take you through dense forests, alongside meandering streams, and you'll likely spot various flora and fauna unique to this region. Upon reaching Nyabitaba Hut, savor the spectacular mountain views and relax in the tranquil setting.

Day 4

From Nyabitaba Hut to John Matte Hut - Continue your expedition as trek further, heading from Nyabitaba Hut to John Matte Hut (3350m). The scenery transforms as you gain elevation, offering magnificent vistas of the surrounding mountains. Keep an eye out for curious wildlife along the way, and enjoy the camaraderie with your fellow trekkers.

Day 5

John Matte Hut to Bujuku Hut - Today's hike takes from John Matte Hut to Bujuku Hut (3962m). Prepare to be awestruck by the dramatic landscapes and changing ecosystems as traverse through rugged terrains and alpine meadows. Bujuku Hut's location amidst the picturesque landscape is a perfect place to spend the night.

Day 6

Bujuku Hut to Elena Hut – Today ascend to greater heights, hike from Bujuku Hut to Elena Hut (4430m). The air gets crisper, and you'll feel an incredible sense of accomplishment as you reach the higher altitudes. The ever-changing vistas are nothing short of mesmerizing, making every step worth the effort.

Day 7

Summit Mt. Margherita and Descend to Lake Kitandara Hut - Today is a highlight of the expedition. Ascend from Elena Hut to the summit of Mt. Margherita (5109m), the highest peak in the Rwenzori Mountains. Stand tall on the roof of Africa and soak in the unparalleled views of the surrounding peaks and glaciers. Later, descend to Lake Kitandara Hut (4023m) for a well-deserved rest.

Day 8

Lake Kitandara Hut to Guy Yeoman Hut - As continue our descent, hike from Lake Kitandara Hut to Guy Yeoman Hut (3261m). The descent offers new perspectives on the landscape you conquered, and the lower altitude brings milder temperatures. This leg of the journey allows for more leisurely exploration of the natural wonders along the way.

Day 9

Trek back to Nyabitaba Hut - Today, trek back from Guy Yeoman Hut to Nyabitaba Hut. Take this opportunity to bid farewell to the mountain, reflecting on the incredible experiences and memories you've gathered during this extraordinary adventure.

Day 10

Return to Ibanda - It's time to conclude the expedition. Hike back to Ibanda, relishing the final moments amidst the Rwenzori Mountains. Once back in Ibanda, celebrate the successful journey with your fellow trekkers and indulge in some well-deserved rest.

Day 11

Drive to Entebbe and Departure - Today, Drive back to Entebbe, cherishing the memories of an unforgettable expedition. Spend the morning and early afternoon enjoying the sights and sounds of Entebbe, visiting local attractions, or picking up some souvenirs. Later, we'll head to Entebbe International Airport to catch your return flight, carrying the spirit of adventure and the beauty of Uganda in your heart. Farewell and safe travels!
