Day 1

Upon your arrival at the International Airport, a representative will warmly greet you and escort you to your hotel in Nairobi. Upon reaching the hotel, take a moment immerse yourself in the beauty of your surroundings. Embark on a private visit to the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, a sanctuary for orphaned elephants and rhinos. Following this, indulge in a delightful dinner at your hotel. The exclusive viewing session begins at 3:00 PM, coinciding with the scheduled feeding time for the orphaned elephants. This 30-40 minute experience offers you a unique opportunity to connect with the orphans and their caretakers.

Day 2

Start your day with a morning transfer from the hotel to catch an early flight to the Masai Mara. The camp team will be there to welcome you upon your arrival. From the moment you land, the sights and sounds of the Mara will captivate your senses. Settle in and then embark on your first thrilling game drive. Expect to encounter a variety of iconic wildlife, including elephants, buffalo, giraffes, lions, cheetahs, wildebeest, and zebras.

Day 3

Nestled below the location where the famous final scene of "Out of Africa" was filmed, this utterly romantic and private camp exudes the charm of Kenyan safaris from the 1920s and 1930s. The camp comprises two intimate clusters of nine tented suites each, nestled amidst the forest at the edge of the Masai Mara. The tented suites exude classic elegance with polished wooden floors and en-suite bathrooms. Each tent boasts a deck overlooking the vast game-filled plains of the Masai Mara. A personal butler ensures your every need is met. The comfortable sitting and indoor/outdoor dining areas are adorned with exquisite antiques, evoking the golden era of classic safaris.

Day 4

Rise early for a morning transfer to Wilson Airport, where you'll catch a flight to Kilimanjaro International Airport. From there, another flight takes you to Lobo Airstrip in the northern Serengeti. This region promises stunning landscapes and excellent wildlife sightings throughout most of the year. Spend two nights at a camp in an intimate cottage with an en-suite bathroom featuring a shower.

Day 5

Refresh yourself with a swim in the pool overlooking the seasonal hippo pods before embarking on a game drive. With fewer vehicles around, you'll feel like you have the Serengeti all to yourself. Explore the territory reminiscent of 'Mufasa' from "The Lion King," where you can track lions and other fascinating wildlife. Anticipate encounters with sizable lion prides, energetic 'Simbas' and 'Nalas,' and lively groups of hyenas.

Day 6

After breakfast, journey to Serengeti Camp, a seasonal mobile camp that shadows the Great Migration. Luxuriate in this opulent tented camp complete with a private butler, elegant chandeliers, silverware, and plush beds. Dinners are a magical affair lit by lanterns and stars. The mobile camp strategically follows the migration, offering optimal views of the vast herds of wildebeest and zebras, accompanied by numerous big cats. Enjoy campfires and fine wines under the starry sky.

Day 7

Experience a quintessential Tanzanian safari with sumptuous tented camps that shift across the Serengeti all year round, providing proximity to the Great Migration. When the migration crosses into Kenya, these camps remain in the serene corners of the Serengeti, renowned for exceptional resident wildlife. The two intimate camps each boast eight en-suite safari tents, thoughtfully positioned in exclusive semi-permanent campsites within the Serengeti National Park.

Day 8

Embark on a journey to Ngorongoro Crater, a captivating ancient caldera with a diverse ecosystem, serving as a haven for abundant game. Revel in the contrast between the lodge's baroque elegance and the stunning views of this UNESCO World Heritage Site. Spend a day in the Crater, seeking out majestic tuskers and the endangered rhinos. Embark on a guided crater rim walk or indulge in a full-day Empakai hike, perfect for bird enthusiasts. Toast the day with sundown cocktails accompanied by a private performance by Maasai warriors.
