Day 1

Upon your arrival in Paro, you will be transferred to Thimphu, the capital city of Bhutan. After settling into your accommodation, you will have the afternoon at leisure to relax and acclimatize to the altitude. Take this time to explore the surroundings, immerse yourself in the local culture, and perhaps visit nearby markets or cafes.

Day 2

Explore Thimphu, Bhutan's capital. Visit Tashichho Dzong, the King's fortress. See the National Memorial Chorten, a peaceful stupa. To learn more about Bhutanese culture and traditions, head to the Folk Heritage Museum. This living museum showcases traditional Bhutanese artifacts, rural household objects, and exhibits that provide insights into the country's rich heritage.

Day 3

After breakfast, you will drive to Punakha, a picturesque valley located at a lower altitude. En route, you will make a stop at the Dochu La Pass, which offers breathtaking panoramic views of the Himalayas. Admire the 108 memorial chortens (stupas) built on the pass and enjoy the serene surroundings. Continuing your journey, you will reach Punakha, where you can explore the magnificent Punakha Dzong, a fortress monastery situated at the confluence of two rivers.

Day 4

Today, you will embark on a hike to explore a local village near Punakha. Immerse yourself in the rural lifestyle and interact with the friendly locals. After the hike, you will have the rest of the day at leisure to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings at your own pace.

Day 5

After breakfast, you will drive to Gangtey, a pristine valley renowned for its natural beauty and the Gangtey Monastery. In the afternoon, explore the charming village of Gangtey and immerse yourself in the tranquility of the area. Interact with the locals, learn about their unique way of life, and witness the traditional arts and crafts of the region.

Day 6

Today is dedicated to experiencing the natural wonders of Bhutan. Engage in full-day nature walks, allowing you to appreciate the breathtaking landscapes and diverse flora and fauna. You will also have the opportunity to visit the Black Mountain National Park, known for its pristine forests, rare wildlife, and picturesque trails. Enjoy the serenity of the park and immerse yourself in the beauty of Bhutan's natural heritage.

Day 7

After breakfast, you will drive to Bumthang, a spiritual heartland dotted with ancient monasteries and temples. En route, you will make a stopover in Trongsa to visit the Trongsa Museum, housed in the impressive Trongsa Dzong. Explore the museum and learn about the rich history and cultural significance of the region. Continue your journey to Bumthang and settle into your accommodation.

Day 8

Today, you will embark on a hike to Padseling Goemba, a monastery nestled amidst scenic surroundings. Enjoy a leisurely walk around Chamkhar Village, absorbing the peaceful atmosphere and interacting with the locals. Immerse yourself in the spirituality of the region and soak in the breathtaking views of the surrounding valleys and mountains.

Day 9

After breakfast, you will fly back to Paro, where you will have the afternoon to explore the sights. Visit the historic Paro Rinpung Dzong, an architectural masterpiece that also houses government offices and monastic quarters. Explore the National Museum of Bhutan, located in a former watchtower, which showcases Bhutanese art, relics, and historical artifacts.

Day 10

Today's highlight is a hike to the famous Tiger's Nest, also known as Paro Taktsang. Perched on a cliffside, this sacred monastery is a must-visit attraction in Bhutan. The hike offers stunning views of the surrounding valleys and mountains. Explore the monastery and its various temples, and immerse yourself in the spiritual ambiance of this iconic landmark. After the hike, you will have the afternoon at leisure to relax and reflect on your journey.

Day 11

On your last day, enjoy a leisurely day at your own pace. Take this opportunity to explore Paro, visit local markets, or indulge in some souvenir shopping. You can also use this time to prepare for your return flight, packing your belongings and bidding farewell to the beautiful country of Bhutan.
