Day 1

Indulge in the enchanting allure of India's rich traditions with a floral greeting, setting the stage for the extraordinary holiday experience that lies ahead. You are welcomed by our representative who ensures smooth transportation and check-in at the hotel. After a short stay at the hotel, the journey takes you to Old Delhi, founded as Shahjahanabad, the capital of the Mughal dynasty. You will visit Jama Masjid, also known as the Friday Mosque, Chandni Chowk, also known as "Silver Street," pass by The Red Fort (closed on Mondays) –Afternoon the journey continues to New Delhi, where we begin with a tour past Raisina Hill, Viceroy's House (Rashtrapati Bhavan – the residence of the Indian President), Parliament House, and India Gate – the famous war memorial followed by visit to Qutab Minar. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 2

After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Guwahati. Upon arrival in Guwahati, you will be greeted and transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is at your leisure. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 3

Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning, you will visit Sualkuchi Village, renowned for its commercial production of textiles, especially Pat silk and Muga silk. Sualkuchi, known as the "Manchester of Assam," has evolved as a significant center for textile production over the years. In the afternoon, you will explore Srimanta Sankaradeva Kalakshetra (closed on Mondays), an exhibition showcasing the life and culture of the people of Assam, including various ethnic groups and subgroups that contribute to the state's diverse cultural mosaic. Here, you will witness the essence of the state in all its beauty and grandeur. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 4

Breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, the journey continues to Shillong. Upon arrival, check-in at the hotel. You will visit the Don Bosco Museum, and after lunch, you will explore an archery field and witness the traditional archery game. The evening is at your leisure. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 5

Breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, you will proceed to Mawlynnong to enjoy various attractions in and around the village, including the village itself, recognized as the cleanest village in Asia, and the Living Root Bridge, a short drive and 15-minute walk away. Byrdew Falls, located at Pomshutia, is an hour's drive and a 45-minute walk from Mawlynnong. It is one of the most picturesque waterfalls in the East Khasi Hills. Visitors can stand in a cave behind the falling water and also descend to the bottom of the waterfall. Return to the hotel in Shillong. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 6

Breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, the journey continues to Tezpur and then on to Balipara. Check-in at the Heritage Tea Bungalow upon arrival in Balipara. Overnight stay at the Heritage Tea Bungalow.

Day 7

After breakfast, you will proceed to Ziro, visiting Nishi Tribal Village en route. Check-in at the hotel upon arrival in Ziro. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 8

Early breakfast at the hotel, followed by a visit to Apatani Tribal Village. Ziro serves as the headquarters of Lower Subansiri district and is home to the famous Apatani tribe. They are primarily farmers, relying mainly on agriculture and forests. The tribe's extensive rice cultivation, carried out without the use of animals or machinery, has earned the Apatani Valley a place on UNESCO's World Heritage List. You can also rent a bicycle and visit villages. The tour then proceeds to the village of Hong, the largest village in the area and one of the largest in Asia. At the end of the village, an altar is erected for offering chickens to both malevolent and benevolent spirits. Afterward, you return to the village to visit a local house and interact with the people. Later, you visit the villages of Hari, Bulla, Hija, and Dutta. Lunch will be at a local restaurant during these village visits. In the afternoon, you visit the local market before returning to the hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 9

Breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, the journey continues to North Lakhimpur, and then you cross the Brahmaputra River to reach Majuli. Check-in at the hotel upon arrival in Majuli. Later, you will visit Mishing Tribal Village and Vaishnavite monasteries. Majuli, perhaps the largest river island, is a treasure trove of cultural heritage in the region. The founder of "Ekasarana Dharma," Srimanta Sankaradeva, sought refuge in Majuli in the 15th century, and since then, Majuli has been an important center for Vaishnavite culture in Assam. Majuli boasts a unique blend of various tribes, traditional crafts, and colorful festivals. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 10

Breakfast at the hotel. The journey continues to Jorhat, crossing the Brahmaputra River. Check-in at the Heritage Tea Bungalow upon arrival in Jorhat. The rest of the day is at your leisure. Overnight stay at the Heritage Tea Bungalow.

Day 11

After breakfast, you will proceed to Dibrugarh, visiting Sivasagar en route. Sivadol (Shiva Temple) is believed to be the tallest of all existing Lord Shiva temples in India. Here, visitors can see the remaining well-preserved relics. Rang Ghar, the oldest surviving amphitheater in Asia, is another remarkable landmark in Sivasagar. The Tai Ahom Museum houses several relics from the Ahom kingdom, including swords, clothing, and manuscripts. Lunch will be provided on the way to Dibrugarh. Check-in at the Heritage Bungalow upon arrival in Dibrugarh. Overnight stay at the Heritage Bungalow.

Day 12

After breakfast, you will visit Maguri Beel on a motorless boat. Maguri Beel is a wetland area located just outside Dibru-Saikhowa National Park. "Beel" is the local term for a lake with marshy edges. Dibru-Saikhowa National Park is situated on the northern bank of the Dibru River. Maguri Beel is connected to the Dibru River through a system of channels and is rich in aquatic organisms. Return to the Heritage Bungalow after the tour. Overnight stay at the Heritage Bungalow.

Day 13

Breakfast at the Heritage Bungalow. You will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Delhi. Upon arrival in Delhi, you will be greeted by our representative and transferred to the hotel. The rest of the day is at your leisure. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 14

Breakfast at the hotel. Later, you will be transferred to the airport for homebound flight.
