Day 1

Upon arrival at Bandaranaike International Airport in Colombo, your will be greeted by our tour representative. After a warm welcome, you will be transferred to Negombo, a beautiful coastal town located just a short drive away from the airport. Check into your hotel, freshen up, and take some time to relax after your journey.

Day 2

Today drive to Dambulla and visit the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage en route. Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage was established as a home for wounded and orphaned elephants in 1975. The number of elephants has now increased to around 90, including elephant calves brought in from various parts of the country and more than 25 elephant calves born as a result of breeding programs. The best times to visit are feeding time (from 09:30 to 10:00 and from 13:30 to 14:00) and bathing time (from 10:00 to 10:30 and from 14:00 to 14:30) when all the elephants bathe in the nearby river. Day 3

Morning proceed for an excursion to Sigiriya Rock Fortress. Sigiriya is on UNESCO's World Heritage List, and this fortress from the 5th century, also known as the "Fortress in the Sky," is perhaps the most amazing wonder on the island. The site is also known as "Lion Rock" because of the huge lion that used to stand at the entrance to the palace at the top of the 600-meter-high rock. Here, you will find the foundation of the royal palace, water tanks used to supply water, many other buildings, and several guardhouses on the edges. Don't miss seeing The Water Gardens and The Boulder Gardens.

Day 4

Morning visit the Dambulla Cave Temples. Dambulla Cave Temples consist of a large rock mass with several caves. Here, you will find the famous temple – Rock Temple – dating back to the first century BC. In the first cave, there is a 47-foot tall reclining Buddha sculpture carved out of the rock. You will find many images/sculptures of deities associated with Buddhism in the temple. The journey then continues to Kandy, and en route, you will visit the Spice Gardens in Matale. Spice Gardens in Matale – if variety is the spice of life, then the diversity of spices harvested at Matale Spice Gardens must be Sri Lanka's immortal soul. Here, you will find fragrances, flavors, and medicines that made and continue to make Sri Lanka famous. Check-in at the hotel upon arrival in Kandy.

Day 5

Explore beautiful city of Kandy, including the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic. Kandy is also on UNESCO's World Heritage List. Kandy was the last part of Sri Lanka to hold its independence from colonial powers until, by agreement, it became part of British rule in 1815. Kandy is one of the most sacred places for Buddhists in Sri Lanka and the world as it is home to the "Sri Dalada Maligawa" – Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic of Buddha. In the afternoon, you will witness a cultural show featuring various types of dances from Sri Lanka.

Day 6

Morning drive to another beautiful hill station Nuwara Eliya, and en route, you will visit Mackwoods Labookellie Tea Centre and Plantation or a similar place. Mackwoods Labookellie Tea Centre and Plantation is a pioneer in tea plantation management and has been involved since the inception of tea plantations in Sri Lanka. Nuwara Eliya is also known as the "Little England" of Sri Lanka. Nuwara Eliya boasts beautiful backgrounds of mountains, valleys, waterfalls, and tea plantations. Nuwara Eliya is one of the coolest places on the entire island. Throughout Nuwara Eliya, you will see evidence of British influence – houses resembling English cottages or Queen Anne-style mansions. Day 7

Morning continue the journey to Yala. Check-in at the hotel upon arrival in Yala. In the afternoon, you will go on a jeep safari in Yala National Park. Yala National Park covers an area of 126,786 hectares, including a nature reserve called "BLOCK II." The most famous part is "BLOCK I," which covers an area of 14,101 hectares and was established in 1938. Yala National Park is known for large herds and a large number of elephants, leopards, spotted deer, sambar deer, crocodiles, wild boars, wild buffaloes, and many other animals.

Day 8

Morning leave for Hikkaduwa. En route, you will visit the Dutch Fort in Galle. Galle is Sri Lanka's most historically interesting city and is located on the south coast of Sri Lanka. The city was a major port about 100 years ago and continues to handle shipping and sailboats in the natural harbor. The Dutch Fort in Galle is the oldest landmark in the city. This Portuguese and Dutch fort is on UNESCO's World Heritage List. Check-in at the hotel upon arrival in Hikkaduwa.

Day 9

Breakfast at the hotel. The entire day is at your leisure.

Day 10

Return to Colombo and Farewell As our journey comes to an end, we drive back to Colombo. Spend your final moments shopping for souvenirs or visiting any spots you may have missed. Later, we'll assist you in preparing for your return flight with wonderful memories of your Sri Lankan escapade.
